The power of working together . . .
Working with the Care Association Alliance empowers us in changing things for the future.
And bringing social care into the arena at the Health+Care 2017 event at the Excel, London, was a prime example.
As West Midlands Care Association, we were fully able to embrace the event and our stand provided a wonderful platform to talk to the wider industry.
The Alliance, which is made up of the Local Associations around the Country, was key to getting a major representation of what we do into the London show, which is probably the most high profile exhibition of the year.
In a nutshell, the exhibition saw multiple local care associations working together, putting aside differences and sharing best practice and knowledge.
Our thanks go to the Health+Care team that partnered with the Alliance in creating an inspiring platform to allow Care and Health Professionals the chance to meet the Local Association representatives.
We had a chance to many of the National Bodies, including CQC’s Chief Inspector Andrea Sutcliffe and Laing and Buisson’ CEO Henry Elphick.
As part of the PR machinery, WMCA chief executive and co-chair of the Alliance, Debbie Le Quesne gave a video interview that will no doubt be in the can for future Health+Care promotion material.
